  Vegetation Control Worker II - Job ID: 21-045

 Douglas County is accepting applications for a Vegetation Control Worker II position in Public Works for technical work in the control and elimination of noxious weeds.  Work involves calibrating equipment, mixing chemicals, identifying and treating noxious weeds & equipment operations.  Must possess or be able to obtain both a 9A and 6 Certification as a Commercial Pesticide Applicator within 90 and 180 days of employment.  Also, applicant must possess or be able to obtain a Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement within 45 days of employment. Previous experience is preferred. Starting wage is $17.28 per hour with excellent benefits including health insurance.
